  • Tampon

  • Teasing

    Playful or light-hearted remarks intended to amuse or provoke laughter. However, it can sometimes lead to discomfort or hurt feelings.

  • Teen Pregnancy

    Involves individuals ages 19 or younger becoming pregnant. These individuals face unique challenges related to maternal health, social dynamics, and educational/professional pursuits. Comprehensive sex education, access to contraception, and supportive healthcare help prevent unplanned teen pregnancies.

  • Tendons

  • Testosterone

  • Tetanus

    Tetanus is a bacterial infection - sometimes referred to as lockjaw - caused by Clostridium tetani, often entering the body through wounds or cuts. It leads to muscle stiffness and spasms and can be prevented by vaccination.

  • Thalamus

    Located in the brain, just above the brainstem and below the cerebral cortex, the thalamus acts as a relay center and plays a role in regulating sleep, alertness, and consciousness. It processes and transmits sensory information (like sight, sound, and touch) from the body to the appropriate areas of the brain for interpretation.
