  • Bacteria

    A digestive fluid made by the liver and stored in the gallbladder. It helps break down fats in the food you eat, making it easier for your body to absorb nutrients. Bile is released into the small intestine during digestion and contains bile salts, water, and waste products like cholesterol and bilirubin.

    Limits or rules a person sets to define what they are comfortable with in relationships, interactions, or personal space. Boundaries help protect emotional, physical, and mental well-being by clarifying acceptable behavior and fostering healthy connections.

  • Braille

    A tactile writing system designed for individuals with visual impairments that uses raised dots to represent letters, numbers, and symbols. The incorporation of braille in various contexts creates more inclusive spaces: promoting literacy, independence, and access to information in various educational and professional settings.

  • Brain

    An organ that enables us to perceive the world and engage in all aspects of life. The brain is the central organ of the nervous system, responsible for processing information, controlling bodily functions, and facilitating cognitive functions such as thinking and emotions.

  • Breast

    Refers to the front part of the chest, primarily made up of skin, fat, connective tissue, and glandular tissue. It contains milk-producing glands called lobules, ducts that carry milk to the nipple, and blood vessels, lymph nodes, and nerves. Both males and females have breast tissue, but they are more developed in females due to the presence of more glandular tissue for producing milk during breastfeeding.

  • Budget

    A financial plan outlining income, expenses, and savings to achieve specific financial goals. Creating and adhering to a budget helps individuals manage their finances, save for future needs, and avoid unnecessary debt.

  • Bug Bites

    The puncture of the skin by insects leading to irritation and sometimes allergic reactions or infection. Preventive measures against bug bites might include using insect repellent, wearing protective clothing, and avoiding known insect habitats to reduce the risk of bug bites.

    Repetitive and harmful behavior aimed at causing distress to an individual or group. Bullying can be verbal, socially, or physically and occurs in various settings, including schools and workplaces.

  • Bystander Intervention

    Involves stepping in to help or prevent harm when witnessing a potentially harmful situation. Bystander intervention should be done in certain contexts and promotes a collective responsibility for creating a safe and supportive community.
