In addition to supporting our mission,
what does your generosity do?

It saves lives.
In 2004, a 10-year-old (5th grader) became an unlikely hero when she saved over 100 people from an incoming tsunami. Just two weeks before her family's vacation to Thailand, Tilly Smith was in her geology class in Britain learning to recognize the subtle signs of an approaching tsunami. While the tsunami claimed 227,898 lives, no fatalities were reported on Mai Khao Beach because Tilly saw the signs and acted quickly.
Tilly’s story inspired us - preparing youth for disaster makes us all safer!
It helps kids and teens.
The inspiration for Public Health Media (PHM) was to provide sex and health education on an accessible online platform, but stories like Tilly's inspired PHM to broaden its scope. Now, our programs encompass public health as a whole - from the importance of infection prevention to disaster preparedness, and more! The thing is, if a young person can demonstrate such remarkable foresight and save lives during a crisis, imagine the profound impact of preparing young people in the USA (and worldwide) with the knowledge and skills to confront various health challenges throughout their lives. After all, children are not just the leaders of tomorrow; they are the change-makers of today.
It creates a healthier future for all.
If you believe, like us, in the transformative power of knowledge to foster a healthier population, we humbly ask for your support. Your gift will enable us to expand our reach, touching the lives of more students and communities, and ultimately, contributing to a brighter, healthier future for all. Thank you for joining us on this journey.
